Seeking a qualified Physiotherapist in Abu Dhabi , UAE to deliver high-quality patient-centered care and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, chronic illnesses, and physical disabilities.
The Physiotherapist will assess patient conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to improve mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and interpret evaluation findings to design effective physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Diagnose movement dysfunctions and identify the root cause of injuries or physical limitations.
- Implement treatment programs including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and coordination through structured therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
- Utilize physiotherapy equipment such as ultrasound machines, traction devices, hydrotherapy units, and electrotherapy tools.
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment outcomes, and adjust therapy plans as required.
- Support patients in using assistive devices such as crutches, prosthetics, and orthotics.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in discharge planning and recommend follow-up rehabilitation programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety standards, and clinical protocols.
- Perform routine equipment checks and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices through continuous professional development.
- Contribute to team performance and support training initiatives for junior staff when required.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy (BSc).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Physiotherapist.
- Valid DHA / HAAD / MOH License (or eligibility).
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy techniques, rehabilitation protocols, and patient care standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
