A home healthcare facility in Al Ain, UAE is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join its growing healthcare team. The role involves providing patient-centered physiotherapy services in a homecare setting, assessing patients’ physical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting patients in improving mobility and physical function.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct physiotherapy consultations to understand patients’ physical conditions, symptoms, medical histories, and physician or surgeon referrals.
- Assess and identify physical and movement dysfunctions through patient consultation and observation of mobility, posture, gait, and physical function.
- Develop customized physiotherapy treatment plans based on individual patient needs, conditions, and recovery goals.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery, mobility, strength, flexibility, and physical function.
- Guide and educate patients on therapeutic exercises, stretches, mobility techniques, and proper body mechanics.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches according to clinical observations and patient response.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment documentation, and relevant clinical reports.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
- Provide professional physiotherapy services in patients’ homes while maintaining appropriate clinical, safety, and professional standards.
- Follow applicable healthcare regulations, facility policies, infection prevention procedures, and professional practice requirements.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or BSc Physiotherapy.
- Active DOH-Abu Dhabi license or eligibility is required.
- Candidates holding active DHA or MOH licenses may also be considered.
- Previous home healthcare or homecare physiotherapy experience in the UAE is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy assessment, rehabilitation techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient care.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a homecare environment.
- Female candidates are preferred due to patient preferences.
- Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
- Immediate availability to join is required.
- Willingness to travel to patients’ homes and work in a home healthcare setting.
