Physiotherapist Job Role – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patient mobility, strength, and functional limitations
- Develop and implement customized rehabilitation programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Provide post-surgical rehabilitation, particularly for bariatric and laparoscopic surgery patients
- Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced physiotherapy techniques
- Utilize modern physiotherapy equipment and treatment modalities to enhance recovery.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, mobility improvement, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams, including surgeons, dietitians, and nurses
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
- Active DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) license is mandatory
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in the UAE
- Strong expertise in rehabilitation therapy, movement disorders, and post-surgical care
- Experience in obesity and bariatric rehabilitation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in modern physiotherapy tools and treatment techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity
- Arabic language skills are an added advantage
- Ability to join immediately is preferred
- Candidates with own residence visa will have an added advantage
