Job Responsibilities

  • Support agricultural development activities, including crop production, soil management, plant care, and other agricultural operations.
  • Assist with the preparation, mixing, and handling of agricultural materials, solutions, and buffers according to established procedures.
  • Monitor production batches and ensure that agricultural products and materials meet the required quality and operational standards.
  • Support fertilizer handling, preparation, storage, and inventory management while following appropriate safety procedures.
  • Assist with the selection and use of fertilizers, soil amendments, and other agricultural inputs based on operational requirements.
  • Carry out routine checks on agricultural materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure availability and suitability for use.
  • Maintain accurate records of material consumption, inventory levels, production activities, and operational observations.
  • Receive, inspect, store, and distribute agricultural materials and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate the replenishment of fertilizers, raw materials, tools, and other agricultural supplies.
  • Support agricultural services and field operations related to planting, cultivation, crop maintenance, and sustainable farming practices.
  • Assist with basic soil and plant observations to identify potential issues affecting crop growth and agricultural productivity.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material preparation, production monitoring, equipment handling, and workplace safety.
  • Keep work areas, equipment, tools, and facilities clean, organized, and safe.
  • Ensure the proper storage and handling of agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and other controlled materials, where applicable.
  • Coordinate with technical supervisors and team members to complete daily agricultural and production activities efficiently.
  • Identify operational issues and report equipment defects, material shortages, or quality concerns to the responsible supervisor.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on agricultural productivity, resource efficiency, and sustainable agricultural development.

Job Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Plant Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Approximately 1–2 years of practical experience in agriculture, permaculture, farming, agricultural production, or manual operational activities.
  • Basic understanding of agricultural practices, crop management, soil conditions, fertilizers, and plant nutrition.
  • Familiarity with the handling, storage, and safe use of agricultural materials and supplies.
  • Ability to follow technical instructions, standard operating procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Good organizational skills, including inventory management, material handling, and maintaining operational records.
  • Willingness to perform practical, hands-on tasks in agricultural, production, or field environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a technical or agricultural operations team.
  • UAE agricultural industry experience and a valid UAE driving licence are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a practical approach to solving operational problems.

Additional Requirements for Technical Supervisor Candidates

Candidates applying for a technical supervisory-level position should ideally have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in agricultural operations, production supervision, laboratory-related processes, or technical operations.
  • Experience monitoring production batches, supervising material preparation, maintaining quality records, and coordinating daily activities.
  • The ability to guide operational staff, monitor compliance with procedures, and support quality and safety improvements.
