Home Healthcare and Rehabilitation provider in Dubai is seeking Licensed Physiotherapists – Home Healthcare & Rehabilitation Specialists to deliver personalized physiotherapy services to patients in their homes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Visit patients at their homes and provide professional physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and functional abilities.
  • Identify rehabilitation needs and establish individualized treatment objectives.
  • Design and implement customized home-based physiotherapy programs according to patient condition and clinical requirements.
  • Deliver therapeutic exercise programs to improve muscle strength, joint mobility, flexibility, balance, endurance, and functional performance.
  • Provide appropriate manual therapy and hands-on physiotherapy interventions.
  • Perform Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and other appropriate lymphatic therapy techniques for eligible patients.
  • Support patients requiring lymphatic rehabilitation and related therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide sports injury rehabilitation and physical conditioning support when applicable.
  • Assist patients with gait training, mobility exercises, transfer techniques, balance training, and functional movement.
  • Provide rehabilitation support following surgery, injury, illness, or periods of reduced mobility.
  • Monitor patient response to treatment and make appropriate adjustments to rehabilitation programs.
  • Track clinical progress and maintain complete and accurate patient treatment documentation.
  • Explain treatment plans, rehabilitation goals, and exercise routines clearly to patients and caregivers.
  • Teach patients and family members safe exercises and techniques that can be continued between professional visits.
  • Encourage patient participation and adherence to prescribed rehabilitation programs.
  • Identify and communicate significant changes in patient condition to the relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team where required.
  • Follow established healthcare procedures relating to patient safety, infection prevention, clinical documentation, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain professional standards while working independently in patients’ homes.
  • Manage scheduled home visits efficiently and provide a respectful and patient-centered healthcare experience.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • 1–2 years of relevant physiotherapy experience.
  • Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP license or eligibility, depending on applicable UAE licensing requirements.
  • Certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is required.
  • Knowledge or specialization in lymphatic therapy, sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation, or related areas.
  • Previous experience in home healthcare is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Practical knowledge of therapeutic exercises, rehabilitation techniques, manual therapy, and mobility training.
  • Experience working with patients requiring individualized rehabilitation programs is an advantage.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate treatment instructions clearly to patients and caregivers.
  • Good interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently during home visits while maintaining professional clinical standards.
  • UAE driving license and personal vehicle are advantageous for home healthcare assignments.
