Britnurse Home Health Care Center LLC is seeking a qualified and compassionate Physiotherapist to join its home healthcare team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on delivering personalized physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to patients in their homes, helping improve mobility, strength, functional independence, and overall quality of life.
The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients, families, nurses, physicians, and caregivers to develop and deliver individualized treatment programs while maintaining high standards of patient safety, clinical documentation, and professional practice.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, range of motion, balance, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, and treatment goals.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation.
- Support patients recovering from injuries, surgery, illness, or long-term physical conditions.
- Provide rehabilitation support for musculoskeletal, neurological, post-surgical, geriatric, and other relevant conditions.
- Monitor patients’ progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical response and changing needs.
- Educate patients and family members on prescribed home exercise programs, safe movement techniques, posture, mobility, and injury prevention.
- Assess patients’ needs for mobility aids and assistive devices and provide appropriate guidance on their safe use.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, clinical reports, and progress documentation.
- Coordinate patient care with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare, clinical, and professional standards.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a safe care environment during home visits.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment when working independently in patients’ homes and community settings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a commitment to professional development.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physiotherapy or a relevant recognized qualification.
- Current UAE professional license or eligibility to obtain the required license to practice as a Physiotherapist in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation, and manual therapy techniques.
- Clinical experience treating patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, post-surgical, geriatric, or other rehabilitation needs.
- Previous experience in home healthcare or community-based physiotherapy in the UAE or GCC is an advantage.
- Good clinical documentation, reporting, and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage home visits effectively, and demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, professional ethics, confidentiality, and patient safety.
- Good command of English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
