HSE Officer in Dubai to join its manufacturing facility located in Dubai Industrial Park (DIP). The selected candidate will report directly to the Plant Manager and will play a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) within the food manufacturing or FMCG industry, combined with knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and legal requirements
- Implement, monitor, and continuously improve health, safety, and environmental procedures across the manufacturing facility
- Conduct routine safety inspections, internal audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses; recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Promote a proactive safety culture through employee training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe handling of machinery, chemicals, and materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance workplace safety and operational efficiency
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, emissions control, and sustainability practices
- Support implementation and compliance with food safety and quality standards in coordination with QA/QC teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH (preferred)
- Strong understanding of HSE management systems and UAE regulatory requirements
HSE Officer Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably within food manufacturing, FMCG, or processing industries
- Hands-on experience with HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Prior UAE work experience is an advantage.
