Physiotherapist – MSK wanted to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and patient-centred care.

The successful Physiotherapist will be responsible for delivering advanced physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments by reviewing patient medical history, performing physical examinations, and evaluating mobility, strength, posture, balance, flexibility, and functional limitations.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition, rehabilitation goals, and overall health status. Deliver advanced physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, dry needling (where licensed), soft tissue mobilization, gait training, and functional rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress through regular reassessments, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery and achievement of rehabilitation goals. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, posture correction, ergonomic practices, home exercise programs, and long-term self-management strategies.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in accordance with healthcare documentation standards. Ensure all physiotherapy practices comply with UAE healthcare regulations, professional licensing requirements, infection prevention protocols, and organizational policies.
• Utilize clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered physiotherapy services. Manage patients with acute, chronic, post-operative, sports, neurological, pediatric, and geriatric rehabilitation needs while ensuring the highest standards of clinical care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to developing comprehensive rehabilitation plans for complex patient cases. Support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey by encouraging active participation, maintaining clear communication, and promoting positive treatment outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function
• Provide specialized MSK rehabilitation services, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and post-operative rehabilitation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care and optimal clinical outcomes

• Support and mentor junior physiotherapists, providing clinical supervision, training, and professional guidance
• Ensure compliance with DHA/MOH/DOH regulations, clinical governance standards, and internal healthcare policies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and risk management programs within the physiotherapy department
• Monitor and enhance patient experience and satisfaction, ensuring services align with organizational standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documentation, and treatment progress reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional postgraduate qualifications in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation will be an advantage
• Minimum 4+ years of post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist.

• Proven experience in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings
• Strong background in musculoskeletal (MSK), orthopaedics, respiratory, and neurological physiotherapy
• Demonstrated senior-level experience in neurological rehabilitation
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure (DHA/MOH/DOH) in the UAE
