Physiotherapist vacancy to join a growing healthcare team at a leading medical center in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive physical assessments, diagnosing movement dysfunctions, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based rehabilitation programs. The role requires strong clinical expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, pain management, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, and patient education.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Physiotherapist will collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and high standards of patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities
Patient Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct detailed physical examinations and functional assessments to identify movement impairments, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, and physical limitations.
- Evaluate patient medical histories, diagnostic reports, and clinical findings to establish accurate treatment goals.
- Assess posture, balance, strength, flexibility, range of motion, gait patterns, and functional abilities.
- Develop evidence-based physiotherapy diagnoses and rehabilitation strategies.
Treatment Planning & Rehabilitation
- Design and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition and recovery goals.
- Deliver rehabilitation programs for orthopedic, neurological, sports-related, post-surgical, and chronic pain conditions.
- Apply manual therapy techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
- Prescribe and demonstrate therapeutic exercises for strength, flexibility, balance, and functional recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and recovery milestones.
- Utilize appropriate physiotherapy modalities and rehabilitation equipment as required.
Patient Education & Preventive Care
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, ergonomic practices, and lifestyle modifications.
- Provide guidance on home exercise programs to support long-term recovery and wellness.
- Counsel patients on pain management techniques and strategies for improving physical function.
- Promote healthy movement habits and preventive healthcare practices.
Documentation & Clinical Records
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient records in accordance with DHA regulations and clinic policies.
- Document assessment findings, treatment interventions, patient responses, and progress reports.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare documentation standards.
- Prepare clinical reports and recommendations when required.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians, orthopedic specialists, sports medicine practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to comprehensive patient care plans.
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care to ensure continuity of treatment.
- Support a collaborative healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

- Adhere to Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, professional standards, and ethical physiotherapy practices.

Job Qualifications
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Physiotherapist.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical physiotherapy experience in a hospital, rehabilitation center, medical center, or healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy assessment methods, rehabilitation protocols, and treatment planning.
- Experience in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise prescription, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and pain management.
- Proficiency in maintaining electronic medical records and clinical documentation.

Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and healthcare professionals to support safe return-to-play decisions. Track rehabilitation progress and ensure patients meet functional performance goals before resuming sports activities.
- Neurological Rehabilitation
Assess patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries, and multiple sclerosis. Develop rehabilitation programs aimed at improving balance, coordination, mobility, and motor function. Apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance independence and quality of life. Train patients and caregivers on safe mobility practices and home exercise programs. Monitor neurological recovery and modify treatment interventions based on patient progress.
- Post-Surgical Recovery Programs
Design and implement rehabilitation plans for patients recovering from orthopedic, neurological, and other surgical procedures. Facilitate pain management, mobility restoration, and functional recovery following surgery. Guide patients through progressive strengthening and range-of-motion exercises. Monitor post-operative healing and identify any complications requiring further medical attention. Educate patients on recovery timelines, activity modifications, and injury prevention measures.
