Seeking a Physiotherapist to join a leading Rehab healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. The role requires delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatments while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities – Physiotherapist
Patient Assessment and Treatment
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to identify patients’ physical limitations, functional impairments, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnosis, medical history, and rehabilitation goals.
- Perform detailed musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, and functional evaluations.
- Monitor patient progress and regularly review treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and rehabilitation programs.
Rehabilitation and Recovery Management
- Assist patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, joint replacements, spinal surgeries, and sports injuries.
- Provide rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from accidents, trauma, fractures, strokes, and neurological disorders.
- Support patients in regaining mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, and functional independence.
- Deliver pain management therapies and therapeutic exercise programs.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications.
Clinical Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, assessments, and progress reports.
- Prepare comprehensive clinical reports and rehabilitation outcome documentation.
- Collect and analyze patient treatment statistics and performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and hospital policies.
Patient and Family Education
- Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment plans and rehabilitation strategies.
- Provide guidance on home exercise programs and long-term recovery plans.
- Promote awareness of preventive healthcare measures to reduce future injuries and complications.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure seamless rehabilitation services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding treatment progress.
Supervision and Leadership
- Supervise Physiotherapy Assistants and Physiotherapy Aides.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and instruction to support staff.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout physiotherapy service delivery.
Equipment and Resource Management
- Ensure physiotherapy equipment is maintained in safe and operational condition.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate equipment and supply requirements with department management.
- Ensure treatment areas comply with healthcare safety and hygiene standards.
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
- Deliver treatments based on current evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of rehabilitation programs and service delivery models.
- Attend continuing professional development (CPD) programs, workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
Health, Safety, and Risk Management
- Maintain a safe clinical environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Identify, document, and report workplace hazards and safety concerns.
- Ensure all adverse clinical incidents are recorded and reported according to hospital procedures.
- Follow occupational health, infection control, and workplace safety policies.
- Participate in implementing safe work systems and risk management strategies.
