MOH Licensed Arabic Pharmacist wanted in Sharjah to join a dynamic healthcare team. MOH Licensed Arabic Pharmacist will play a critical role in delivering patient-centered pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe dispensing of medications, and providing professional guidance to customers on prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) treatments.
This position requires strong expertise in insurance prescription handling, drug therapy management, and patient counseling, along with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of pharmacy practice in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing & Prescription Management
- Accurately review, interpret, and dispense prescriptions as per physician directives.
- Identify and resolve therapeutic incompatibilities, drug interactions, and contraindications.
- Ensure proper labeling, dosage, and administration instructions for all medications.
Patient Counseling & Customer Care
- Provide expert advice on OTC medications, minor ailments, and symptom-based treatments.
- Educate patients on dosage, side effects, storage conditions, and medication adherence.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction in a retail pharmacy setting.
Insurance & Claims Handling
- Process and manage insurance prescriptions in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with insurance providers to ensure accurate claim submissions and approvals.
- Maintain proper documentation and resolve any insurance-related discrepancies.
Clinical & Health Screening Services
- Conduct basic health screenings such as blood pressure, blood glucose, and temperature checks.
- Offer preventive healthcare advice and promote health and wellness programs.
Inventory & Pharmacy Operations
- Maintain accurate records of controlled substances and pharmaceutical inventory.
- Monitor stock levels, remove expired/damaged products, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Support daily pharmacy operations including order verification, billing, and compliance checks.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to MOH regulations, UAE pharmacy laws, and professional standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical science and drug information.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient medication records.
- Assist in reporting, audits, and other administrative pharmacy tasks as required.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dosage calculations
- Expertise in insurance prescriptions and UAE healthcare systems
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English
- Customer-focused approach with strong patient counseling abilities

Job Qualifications
- MOH Licensed Pharmacist (Mandatory)
- Male Arabic Speaker (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist in UAE or GCC
- Proven experience in dispensing medications and handling insurance prescriptions
- Strong knowledge of OTC products and patient advisory services
