A leading logistics and freight forwarding company in Abu Dhabi wants a Customer Service Executive to manage client interactions and ensure smooth coordination of freight operations. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in air, sea, and land freight services who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer support in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely communication, accurate quotations, and effective resolution of service-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling inquiries related to freight forwarding services.
  • Prepare and provide accurate freight quotations for air, sea, and land shipments based on client requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as operations and logistics to ensure smooth shipment processing and delivery timelines.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints and service issues professionally, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong, long-term client relationships to encourage repeat business and customer retention.
  • Provide regular updates to clients regarding shipment status, delays, and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure all customer interactions align with company standards and service quality expectations.
  • Maintain records of customer communications and transactions for tracking and reporting purposes.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in customer service within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Prior experience in Abu Dhabi or UAE logistics market is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of freight operations (air, sea, and land transportation).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
