Assistant Pharmacist Fresher to join a Pharmacy healthcare team in Sharjah. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates with a valid MOH license who are eager to build their careers in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the licensed pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately as per prescriptions
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of pharmaceutical products
- Maintain inventory levels, check stock expiry dates, and manage stock rotation (FEFO/FIFO)
- Support in receiving, verifying, and organizing medicine deliveries.
- Actively learn about pharmaceutical products, drug classifications, and usage Stay updated with basic pharmacy practices and MOH guidelines Take initiative to improve knowledge and skills in the healthcare field
- Provide basic guidance to customers on medication usage under pharmacist supervision
- Ensure compliance with MOH regulations, pharmacy policies, and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy in line with health regulations
- Handle billing, cash transactions, and maintain accurate sales records
- Assist in maintaining patient confidentiality and proper documentation
Job Qualifications
- Mandatory: Valid MOH (Ministry of Health) License or Eligibility Letter
- Open to freshers with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
- Male candidates only (as per current requirement)
- Preference will be given to candidates with self-sponsored visa
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical products, dosage forms, and medical terminology
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an added advantage)
- Assist the licensed pharmacist in accurately dispensing medications based on valid prescriptions
- Cross-check prescriptions for completeness, dosage accuracy, and patient details
- Prepare medicines by measuring, counting, labeling, and packing under supervision
- Ensure correct instructions are clearly mentioned on medication labels
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
