Physiotherapist hiring for a leading Inclusion Institute in Sharjah, dedicated to supporting children with developmental, physical, and neurological needs. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical and functional assessments of children with developmental delays, neurological disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, and physical disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized pediatric physiotherapy treatment plans based on each child’s functional goals and therapy needs.
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve gross motor skills, balance, coordination, posture, strength, mobility, and functional independence.
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, stretching techniques, gait training, and mobility enhancement programs.
- Support children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, developmental coordination disorder, muscular weakness, and orthopedic impairments.
- Monitor and document patient progress regularly, updating treatment plans based on developmental milestones and therapy outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, occupational therapists, special educators, psychologists, and inclusion specialists to ensure holistic child development.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility support strategies, and therapy carryover techniques.
- Recommend and assist in the use of adaptive equipment, mobility aids, orthotics, and supportive devices when required.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and assessment records in accordance with healthcare and educational regulations.
- Participate in case conferences, parent meetings, and Individual Education Plan (IEP) discussions where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with MOH/SHA regulations, clinical protocols, and child safeguarding standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university.
- MOE Equivalency Certificate is mandatory.
- Valid MOH / SHA Physiotherapy License is required.
- Minimum 2+ years of pediatric physiotherapy experience in schools, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, clinics, or inclusion institutes.
- Proven experience working with children with special needs and developmental disorders.
- Strong understanding of pediatric rehabilitation techniques and child development principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation and education team.
- Strong documentation, assessment, and clinical reporting skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification is an advantage.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
