Food Quality Assurance Officer

Food condiments manufacturing company – Best Foods Industry LLC in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced Food Quality Assurance Officer to oversee and strengthen its food safety and quality systems. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in QA, HACCP implementation, and regulatory compliance within the food industry.

Location: Dubai, UAE
Industry: Food Manufacturing (Condiments / FMCG)

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Food Quality Assurance / Food Safety, preferably in the condiments or FMCG sector
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations in the UAE
• Mandatory certifications:
  • Food Safety Level 4
  • HACCP Level 4
  • PIC Level 3 (Person in Charge)
• Additional certifications such as FSSC 22000, BRCGS, or ISO 22000:2018 are highly desirable
• Basic Arabic typing skills will be considered an advantage
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and handle audits efficiently
• Male candidates preferred (as per company requirement)

Job Responsibilities

Food Safety & Quality Management

• Ensure full compliance with food safety standards, HACCP plans, and quality policies
• Monitor implementation of GMP, hygiene practices, and sanitation standards
• Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)

Audit & Inspection

• Conduct routine quality inspections and internal audits across all departments
• Prepare for and support external audits from regulatory authorities and certification bodies
• Identify gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of quality checks, lab results, and audit findings
• Review and update SOPs, HACCP documentation, and compliance records
• Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality food safety guidelines

Continuous Improvement & Training

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in food safety and quality processes
• Coordinate with production and operations teams to resolve quality issues
• Conduct staff training on hygiene, food safety, and QA procedures
