Job Overview

The Pediatric Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with physical, developmental, and neurological conditions. The role requires a compassionate, patient-focused professional who can create customized treatment plans and collaborate with families and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed physiotherapy assessments, including physical examinations, posture analysis, mobility assessments, and functional evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient-specific goals.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and posture correction techniques.

• Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans to ensure continuous improvement and effective outcomes.
• Educate parents, caregivers, and families on home exercise programs, therapy techniques, and safety practices to support ongoing rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and educators, to provide holistic patient care.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Create a child-friendly, engaging, and supportive therapy environment that promotes comfort, motivation, and progress.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).
• Valid DHA License or eligibility to practice as a Physiotherapist in Dubai (mandatory requirement).
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience, preferably in pediatric, musculoskeletal, or neurological physiotherapy.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based physiotherapy practices and pediatric rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and families.
