Job Description
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing movement disorders, and developing individualized rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore physical function. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, clinical knowledge, and experience in evidence-based physiotherapy practices.
The role involves working closely with patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders while ensuring high standards of patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and physical examinations to identify patient conditions and rehabilitation requirements.
- Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient needs, medical history, and recovery goals.
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, dry needling, stretching programs, and mobility training.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans to ensure effective rehabilitation outcomes.
- Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, posture, flexibility, balance, and physical function.
- Provide pain management therapies and rehabilitation support for orthopedic, neurological, sports-related, and post-surgical conditions.
- Educate patients and family members on treatment procedures, injury prevention, posture correction, ergonomic practices, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate patient records, assessment reports, treatment documentation, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, rehabilitation specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare safety standards, infection control protocols, and physiotherapy best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy treatments, rehabilitation methods, and clinical practices.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university or institution.
- Valid Physiotherapy License or eligibility to practice in the UAE healthcare sector.
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of clinical physiotherapy experience in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, clinics, or healthcare facilities.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation therapy, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological physiotherapy, and exercise therapy.
- Experience in handling diverse patient cases and creating customized rehabilitation plans.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary medical team.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and patient assessment abilities.
Preferred Skills
