Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular inspections of food establishments, food preparation areas, kitchens, storage facilities, and operational workplaces to ensure food safety compliance.
  • Verify that food handling procedures are performed according to approved hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Educate employees, food handlers, and operators on proper food hygiene practices, safe food handling, and contamination prevention methods.
  • Monitor employee personal hygiene standards, including cleanliness, grooming, and use of protective clothing.
  • Identify food safety hazards and implement corrective and preventive control measures.
  • Investigate food-related complaints, contamination incidents, and suspected foodborne illness cases.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, food safety policies, and HSE regulations.
  • Prepare inspection reports, safety observations, compliance records, and corrective action documentation.
  • Conduct workplace hygiene audits and support continuous food safety improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor cleaning procedures, sanitation activities, waste disposal systems, pest control, and temperature monitoring processes.
  • Report operational concerns and food safety risks to the Operations Supervisor for immediate action and resolution.
  • Assist in enforcing food safety standards and company policies across all departments.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and ensure all food safety procedures are consistently followed.
  • Support management in promoting a strong food safety culture within the organization.

Candidate Requirements

  • High School qualification or equivalent
  • 0–2 years of experience in food safety, catering, hospitality, restaurants, or food manufacturing
  • Freshers with food safety training may also apply
  • HACCP or Food Safety certification is an added advantage
  • Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
