Vacancy for a Food Safety & Hygiene Super. in Dubai, UAE to oversee hygiene operations and food safety compliance within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing food safety programs, ensuring sanitation standards are consistently maintained, and supporting operational teams in achieving full compliance with HACCP and UAE food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Sanitation & Hygiene Management

  • Monitor and enhance sanitation and hygiene standards across all food preparation, storage, and service areas.
  • Ensure food served to guests and employees is safe, hygienic, and protected from contamination risks.
  • Verify that all operational areas comply with required cleanliness and hygiene standards.

HACCP & Food Safety System Administration

  • Manage HACCP documentation, monitoring records, and food safety reports.
  • Consolidate food safety data and communicate findings to management and department heads.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to food safety and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

Internal Audits & Compliance Monitoring

  • Conduct scheduled self-audits and hygiene inspections in accordance with HACCP requirements.
  • Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support regulatory inspections, municipality audits, and microbiological sampling activities.

Hygiene Best Practices & Corrective Actions

  • Promote and implement best hygiene practices throughout the organization.
  • Ensure corrective actions from inspections and audit findings are properly verified and closed.
  • Monitor hygiene standards in kitchens, receiving bays, storage facilities, and waste disposal areas.

Training & Awareness Programs

  • Conduct food safety and hygiene training sessions for food handlers and operational staff.
  • Collaborate with department heads to improve employee awareness regarding food handling, personal hygiene, and sanitation practices.
  • Guide staff on HACCP compliance and food safety procedures.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain organized records related to sanitation programs, inspections, training, and food safety compliance.
  • Coordinate with various departments to resolve hygiene-related concerns and improve operational standards.
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications – Food Safety

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in food safety and hygiene within hotels, restaurants, or hospitality operations in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP systems, UAE municipality regulations, and food safety documentation.
  • HACCP Certification is mandatory.
  • Certified Professional in Food Safety (CP-FS) certification is preferred.
  • Environmental Health & Safety certification is an added advantage.
