A leading IT software solutions company in Dubai is looking for an experienced Azure Generative AI Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.

This role is suitable for an experienced AI professional with strong hands-on expertise in Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Copilots, Azure AI Search, and enterprise AI integrations.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Generative AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI.
Build and deploy AI Agents, Copilots, conversational AI applications, and RAG-based solutions for enterprise use cases.
Develop backend services, REST APIs, automation components, and supporting application services.
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, databases, SharePoint, and other business systems.
Implement Azure AI Search, vector search, embeddings, semantic search, and intelligent document processing solutions.
Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies for enterprise AI applications.
Support model selection, model evaluation, response-quality testing, and AI performance assessment.
Design and implement AI orchestration workflows using Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent AI orchestration frameworks.
Develop and deploy Azure AI workloads using services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Implement secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Azure Key Vault.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, content safety, governance, and Responsible AI controls.
Troubleshoot AI applications and resolve technical, integration, performance, and deployment issues.
Optimize application performance, Azure resource utilization, and cloud costs.
Support production readiness, deployment activities, and ongoing improvements of AI workloads.
Prepare technical architecture documentation, deployment guides, operational procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Collaborate with software developers, cloud engineers, data professionals, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Job Qualifications

6–10 years of relevant experience in software development, cloud engineering, AI engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry.
Strong practical knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and RAG architecture.
Hands-on experience with Azure AI Search / Cognitive Search, embeddings, vector databases or vector search, and semantic search.
Experience developing AI Agents, Copilots, conversational AI applications, or enterprise AI assistants.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and/or Microsoft Power Platform.
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, prompt optimization, document chunking, embeddings, semantic retrieval, and document processing.
Experience developing REST APIs and integrating AI applications with enterprise systems.
Practical experience developing and deploying applications using Azure cloud services.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and cloud deployment practices.
Good understanding of Azure security, identity management, authentication, authorization, and access control.
Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identity, RBAC, and Azure Key Vault.
Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support for cloud-based applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
