A contracting company in Sharjah is seeking an experienced Oracle HRM Specialist to support the implementation, configuration, customization, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong functional knowledge of HR processes with technical expertise to deliver effective Oracle solutions, improve system performance, and support business requirements.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, technical teams, and project members to implement system enhancements, resolve production issues, develop reports, and ensure the smooth operation of Oracle Fusion HCM applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules in accordance with business requirements, project specifications, and implementation timelines.
- Support Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including Core HR, Recruitment, Performance Management, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, and other relevant modules.
- Gather and analyse business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and translate HR process requirements into effective Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Configure Oracle Fusion applications and develop technical enhancements to improve HR workflows, operational efficiency, and user experience.
- Provide production support by investigating system issues, troubleshooting application errors, implementing fixes, and delivering timely resolutions.
- Develop and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries, database procedures, and other technical components required for reporting, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports using Oracle reporting tools, including BI Publisher, OTBI, and other applicable reporting technologies.
- Work with XML-based report templates and other relevant reporting formats to produce accurate HR reports and management information.
- Develop and maintain standard and custom interfaces, APIs, data loads, and integrations between Oracle Fusion HCM and other business applications.
- Support data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, validation, loading, and reconciliation.
- Configure approval workflows and business rules to support HR transactions and organisational requirements.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to verify system configurations and custom developments.
- Identify discrepancies between expected and actual system results and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare technical and functional documentation, including configuration documents, technical specifications, test scripts, user guides, and support procedures.
- Manage system change requests, assess their impact, and ensure changes follow established approval and change-control procedures.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, finance, and project teams to identify business challenges and recommend suitable Oracle Fusion HCM solutions.
- Provide user support, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer to relevant teams.
- Monitor system performance, maintain data accuracy, and ensure that system configurations align with business processes and organisational policies.
- Support other Oracle database systems and related applications where required.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in Oracle applications, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM or a closely related Oracle HCM environment.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM modules, particularly Core HR, Recruitment, and Performance Management.
- Experience with additional HCM modules such as Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, or Talent Management will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in Oracle Fusion HCM implementation, configuration, enhancement, and production support.
- Strong technical knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, with experience in database queries, troubleshooting, and report development.
- Practical experience with Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, XML report templates, and related reporting technologies.
- Knowledge of Oracle APIs, standard and custom interfaces, data migration, and integration processes.
- Experience with workflow configuration, approval management, and business process automation.
- Understanding of testing methodologies, issue tracking, defect resolution, and change management.
- Ability to prepare clear technical and functional documentation in line with established organisational standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a project-oriented environment.
Desirable Qualifications for Oracle
- Master’s degree or MBA in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM certifications.
- Experience working with contracting companies, consulting firms, or client-facing implementation projects.
- Knowledge of Oracle implementation methodologies, such as Oracle Unified Method (OUM), Application Implementation Methodology (AIM), or equivalent project delivery frameworks.
- Experience with legacy Oracle technologies, including Oracle Forms, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and Approval Management Engine (AME), where applicable to the supported systems.
