We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Food Technologist in Dubai to manage and enhance central kitchen operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring product consistency, food safety compliance, and efficient production processes across multiple outlets and delivery platforms.

The successful candidate will lead initiatives in recipe standardization, SOP implementation, quality control, and food cost optimization, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Core Responsibilities
Standardization & Production Control
- Develop standardized recipes with accurate measurements and processes
- Ensure uniformity in product quality across all brands and locations
- Streamline workflows to improve productivity and reduce operational gaps
SOP & Process Management
- Create, implement, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain consistency in central kitchen processes and production standards
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency
Food Safety & Compliance
- Implement and monitor HACCP and food hygiene systems
- Ensure full compliance with local food safety regulations and quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections and audits within the production facility
Shelf-Life & Product Stability
- Conduct shelf-life testing and define product storage conditions
- Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and product handling practices
- Maintain product freshness across dine-in, retail, and delivery channels
Cost Optimization & Waste Management
- Control food costs, portioning, and ingredient utilization
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve yield
- Support cost-effective production without compromising quality
Product Innovation & Packaging
- Assist in new product development (NPD) initiatives
- Support the creation of innovative packaging solutions for retail expansion
- Align product offerings with market trends and customer preferences
Team Training & Coordination
- Train and guide kitchen staff on SOPs, hygiene, and quality standards
- Work closely with production, QA/QC, and management teams
- Promote a culture of discipline, consistency, and food safety awareness
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or central kitchen operations
- Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations in the UAE
- Experience in recipe development, standardization, and process improvement
- Excellent attention to detail with a hands-on approach
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
