Open Restaurant Positions in Dubai

Demi Pastry Chef (1 Position)

The Demi Pastry Chef will support the pastry section in preparing high-quality desserts, baked goods, and specialty pastry items. The role involves assisting senior chefs in creating visually appealing and delicious desserts while maintaining kitchen efficiency and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods.
  • Follow standardized recipes and production procedures to maintain consistent quality.
  • Support the Pastry Chef in daily pastry production and dessert plating.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper storage of pastry items and raw materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards in the pastry kitchen.

Commis Chef – Bakery & Pastry (2 Positions)

The Commis Chef – Bakery & Pastry will assist in the preparation of bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked products while supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and other bakery products.
  • Support pastry and bakery chefs in daily food production activities.
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all baking equipment and workstations are properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Help maintain ingredient stock levels and proper storage procedures.
  • Adhere to GMP, food safety, and hygiene regulations within the bakery section.

Steward (1 Position)

The Kitchen Steward plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen and food preparation areas. This position supports chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring that utensils, equipment, and workspaces remain clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, storage areas, and food preparation zones.
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling procedures.
  • Assist kitchen staff in maintaining hygienic working conditions.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role within a restaurant, café, bakery, or hospitality establishment.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and restaurant operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Candidates must currently be residing in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
