hiring an experienced Food Safety- HSEQ Officer to support and maintain Food Safety, Health & Safety, Environment, Quality, and Halal Management Systems in Dubai. The role focuses on compliance, audits, training, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, high-quality, and sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSEQ policies, procedures, and systems
- Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and internal audits
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Halal standards
- Lead incident investigations and manage CAPA reports
- Deliver HSEQ training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and environmental performance
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Microbiology, Food Technology, or related discipline
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
- Minimum 5 years of HSEQ experience (UAE experience preferred)
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification – mandatory
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Ability to promote a safety-first culture
- Valid UAE Driving License – mandatory
- Candidates must be available in the UAE; immediate joiners preferred
