A leading global beverages soft drinks FMCG company, The Coca-Cola Company, is hiring a Manager – Quality and Food Safety (QFS) for in Dubai, UAE. Responsibilities
1. Quality Systems & Compliance Management
- Lead implementation of The Coca-Cola Quality System (KORE) across manufacturing plants, suppliers, and distribution channels.
- Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations, GFSI standards, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP requirements.
- Conduct end-to-end quality audits, food safety inspections, and compliance assessments across the region.
2. Food Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor performance of food safety management systems (FSMS) and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA), quality improvement initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure 100% compliance with company quality policies and global standards across bottling plants.
3. Supplier Quality & Technical Operations
- Approve and manage suppliers, co-packers, and third-party partners.
- Provide technical expertise in beverage production, microbiology, packaging, and processing technologies.
- Support new plant setups, line expansions, and process validation programs.
4. Product Quality & Market Performance
- Monitor product quality performance in the market and implement corrective measures.
- Conduct trade quality assessments, TPM studies, and market audits.
- Ensure consistency in product formulation, packaging quality, and shelf-life standards.
5. Innovation & New Product Development
- Collaborate with R&D, commercialization, and marketing teams for new product launches.
- Develop manufacturing instructions, process standards, and product specifications.
- Support innovation in beverage production and quality systems enhancement.
6. Sustainability & ESG Initiatives
- Integrate sustainability strategies into food safety and quality systems.
- Work on water management, energy efficiency, sustainable packaging, and environmental compliance.
7. Training & Stakeholder Management
- Train teams on food safety, laboratory analysis, HACCP systems, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners.
- Lead customer audits and ensure compliance in food service and retail operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, food safety, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of:
- HACCP, ISO 22000, GFSI, GMP, Lean Six Sigma
- Food microbiology, regulatory compliance, and audit systems
- Experience in beverage manufacturing, bottling operations, or food processing industry preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic (mandatory).
- Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
