Job Responsibilities
As a QC Chemist in the perfume and cosmetics division, your core responsibilities will include:
- Conducting raw material testing for fragrance oils, alcohol bases, essential oils, and cosmetic ingredients.
- Performing in-process quality control checks during perfume production.
- Testing and approving finished perfume and cosmetic products as per quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with UAE cosmetic regulations, safety standards, and internal QA/QC procedures.
- Maintaining laboratory documentation, test reports, COAs, and batch records.
- Supporting stability testing and shelf-life studies for perfumes and beauty products.
- Identifying non-conformities and coordinating corrective actions with production teams.
Job Qualifications
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a QC Chemist in the fragrance or perfume manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of cosmetic quality control procedures and laboratory testing methods.
- Experience handling GC, analytical instruments, and fragrance evaluation techniques is preferred.
- Good understanding of cosmetic safety standards and product quality parameters.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Must be currently available in the UAE for immediate or short-notice joining.
