ERTH Hospitality is currently hiring a qualified and proactive Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Officer to support and strengthen compliance within its Catering Division. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with solid UAE regulatory knowledge and hands-on experience in food safety management systems within large-scale catering or hospitality operations.


Key Responsibilities

As an HSEQ Officer – Catering (UAE), your core responsibilities will include:

HSEQ Compliance & Policy Implementation

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSEQ policies and procedures across catering sites.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE food safety regulations, occupational health & safety laws, and environmental standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits.

Food Safety & HACCP Management

  • Lead the implementation and monitoring of HACCP-based Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
  • Verify CCP monitoring, corrective actions, and documentation accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene standards, GMP, and safe food handling practices across operations.

Risk Assessment & Audits

  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and site inspections.
  • Perform routine internal audits and compliance checks in line with UAE authorities’ requirements.
  • Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Incident Investigation & Continuous Improvement

  • Investigate food safety, quality, and HSE incidents.
  • Implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with international best practices.

Training & Staff Development

  • Conduct food safety and HSE training sessions.
  • Deliver awareness programs to operational staff and supervisors.
  • Support EFST and internal training initiatives where required.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate HSEQ documentation, records, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure traceability systems and document control processes are properly managed.

Qualifications & Certifications

To qualify for this HSEQ Officer role in UAE catering, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • Food Safety Level 4 Certification
  • HACCP Level 3 Certification
  • NEBOSH IGC (International General Certificate) – Mandatory
  • ADAFSA Train-the-Trainer (EFST Trainer) Certification – Preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of HSEQ/Food Safety experience, including at least 2 years in the UAE.
  • Experience in military or high-security catering sites is considered a strong advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE regulatory standards, food authority inspections, and audit processes.
