Food Safety – Dubai wanted for Food Safety and Food Science graduates with the following-

Job Purpose

Ensure effective implementation, verification, and continual improvement of food safety systems across airline catering operations, supplier networks, and laboratory activities in compliance with HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 17025, airline, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct shop floor inspections and spot verifications; prepare and communicate shift food safety reports.
  • Monitor food safety performance through internal audits, customer complaints, and trend analysis.
  • Perform on-site audits of local suppliers and remote (e-audits) of overseas suppliers as per the approved schedule.
  • Investigate critical food safety–related customer complaints and supplier issues, including physical, chemical, and microbiological concerns.
  • Perform microbiological testing as assigned and maintain ISO 17025 laboratory compliance.
  • Supervise and guide Food Safety Supervisors, Senior Food Safety Assistants, and Food Safety Assistants.
  • Ensure effective monitoring and verification of CCPs, OPRPs, and PRPs as per the Hazard Control Plan.
  • Participate in HACCP reviews during new product development, process changes, new processes, and scheduled reviews.
  • Support airline, commercial, and regulatory food safety audits and ensure compliance with external standards.
  • Assist the Food Safety Manager / Senior Food Safety Manager with daily operations and continual improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Science, or equivalent (mandatory).
  • Level 4 Food Safety Training or equivalent (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Food Safety–related role.
  • Experience in airline catering, large-scale catering, food manufacturing, or related food industry.

Key Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 17025, CCPs, OPRPs, and PRPs.
  • Experience in supplier audits, food safety investigations, and performance reporting.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively
