HACCP Executive to support food safety operations and compliance activities in Dubai, UAE. This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in HACCP implementation, FSMS documentation, and food safety monitoring within the food industry. The HACCP Executive will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure adherence to UAE food safety regulations and international standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of HACCP systems across food production, processing, catering, and related food industry operations.
- Support Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and other applicable standards.
- Conduct internal food safety audits and hygiene inspections to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and GHP requirements.
- Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs), verify control measures, and maintain accurate food safety records.
- Identify non-conformities, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Prepare, update, and control HACCP plans, SOPs, risk assessments, and food safety documentation.
- Support regulatory compliance with UAE food safety laws, Dubai Municipality requirements, and Codex guidelines.
- Assist during external audits, client inspections, and certification assessments.
- Coordinate food safety training and awareness programs for staff.
- Maintain effective communication with operations, quality, and production teams to ensure continuous food safety improvement.
Candidate Profile
- HACCP Certification (mandatory); FSMS or ISO 22000 training is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in the food sector, preferably in quality assurance, food safety, or production roles.
- Hands-on experience in food manufacturing, processing, catering, dairy, poultry, seafood, farms, or feed industry.
- Educational qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related science discipline.
- Good working knowledge of HACCP principles, GMP, GHP, food hygiene, and FSMS requirements.
- Experience in document control and quality assurance activities is preferred.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple projects within the UAE.
