Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and identify physical movement disorders and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
- Assist patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, accidents, strokes, and spinal or joint conditions.
- Provide rehabilitation services to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, exercise programs, and long-term rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment documentation, and clinical reports.
- Supervise Physiotherapy Assistants and Physiotherapy Aides.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and continuing professional development.
- Ensure physiotherapy equipment is properly maintained and report equipment requirements.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and clinical protocols.
- Identify workplace hazards and contribute to maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate from a recognized College or University in Physiotherapy.
- Valid professional license from the country of origin.
- DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) License or eligibility to practice in Al Ain, UAE.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Physical Medicine or Rehabilitation.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and clinical documentation systems.
