Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, and clinical pathology.
- Collect, label, receive, and process patient specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instruments and analyzers.
- Analyze laboratory test results and ensure accuracy before reporting.
- Follow laboratory quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations, infection control standards, and healthcare policies.
- Monitor reagent inventory and laboratory consumables.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions when quality issues arise.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely reporting of results.
- Participate in laboratory audits, accreditation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory data.
Job Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related healthcare field.
- Valid professional license or eligibility for licensing in Saudi Arabia.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience of 1–3 years in a diagnostic laboratory is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety standards, quality systems, and diagnostic testing procedures.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is an advantage.
