Laboratory Coordinator with MLT experience sought in a Dental Laboratory for Dubai, UAE. A leading dental laboratory in Dubai is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Laboratory Coordinator to oversee the daily coordination of laboratory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth workflow across dental laboratory processes, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and supporting the timely delivery of high-quality dental prosthetic and restorative products while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations and workflow of the dental laboratory.
- Monitor the progress of dental cases, ensuring timely processing, production, and delivery.
- Coordinate communication between dentists, clinics, laboratory technicians, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, case documentation, and digital databases.
- Track turnaround times and ensure all cases are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Manage inventory of dental materials, laboratory supplies, consumables, and equipment.
- Coordinate equipment servicing, calibration, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Prepare purchase requests and follow up on procurement of laboratory materials and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality management systems, infection control protocols, and health & safety regulations.
- Assist with internal audits, documentation, quality inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Handle client inquiries, provide administrative support, and coordinate case logistics.
- Generate operational reports and maintain documentation related to laboratory performance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Dental Technology, Healthcare.
- 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory coordination, laboratory administration, or healthcare support role, preferably within a dental laboratory.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High attention to detail with excellent record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
Strong problem-solving, planning, and customer service skills.Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) or dental laboratory management software.Knowledge of ISO 15189, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or other laboratory quality management systems.Familiarity with dental laboratory workflows, prosthetic case management, and production coordination.Experience in inventory management, purchasing, and logistics coordination.
