Paediatric Physiotherapist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE. Paediatric Physiotherapist for an experienced physiotherapist who is passionate about improving the health, mobility, and quality of life of infants, children, and adolescents through evidence-based rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions.
The successful candidate will provide specialized physiotherapy services in both outpatient and inpatient hospital settings, managing a diverse caseload of paediatric patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, developmental, and cardiopulmonary conditions. The role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of physical and developmental conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient needs, and evidence-based practices.
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions for paediatric patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Assess, treat, and monitor children with complex rehabilitation needs to improve mobility, function, independence, and overall well-being.
- Implement therapeutic exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, respiratory care interventions, and developmental rehabilitation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with paediatricians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate parents, caregivers, and family members on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and strategies to support ongoing rehabilitation.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, treatment notes, and progress reports in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and clinical reviews.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants, and students.
- Ensure all physiotherapy services comply with hospital policies, professional standards, and best clinical practices.
- Stay updated on advancements in paediatric physiotherapy, rehabilitation techniques, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits aimed at enhancing patient outcomes.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized Western, European, or Arabic institution.
- Current professional registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Paediatric Physiotherapist.
- Demonstrated experience in treating paediatric musculoskeletal, neurological, developmental, and respiratory conditions.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
