DISC is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Physiotherapist to join its growing healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a licensed physiotherapy professional who is passionate about musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injury management, pain management, and evidence-based treatment approaches. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment to provide exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evaluations using advanced clinical examination techniques.
- Diagnose movement dysfunctions, musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, neurological impairments, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based physiotherapy practices and patient goals.
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescription, therapeutic modalities, and rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to maximize recovery and functional outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with chiropractors, sports medicine physicians, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, ergonomics, exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, progress reports, and clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure adherence to Department of Health (DOH) regulations, clinical protocols, infection control procedures, and organizational policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to treatment planning.
- Deliver a high standard of patient service while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and effective communication.
- Support clinic objectives by achieving patient satisfaction targets and clinical performance KPIs.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in physiotherapy, rehabilitation science, and healthcare best practices through continuous professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid DOH Physiotherapist License or eligibility for licensure in Abu Dhabi.
- Minimum 5 years of physiotherapy experience in a clinic, rehabilitation center, outpatient facility, sports clinic, or healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal assessment, injury management, rehabilitation techniques, and exercise therapy.
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DOH) regulations and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience implementing infection prevention and control protocols.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Orthopedic Physiotherapy, Neurological Rehabilitation, or a related healthcare discipline.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary sports medicine or rehabilitation clinics.
- Specialized certifications in manual therapy, dry needling, sports physiotherapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, or pain management.
- Experience treating athletes, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation cases, and chronic pain conditions.
