A leading Quick Commerce Industry is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate for Dubai, UAE. The Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for ensuring that all processed garments meet established quality standards before dispatch to customers. The role involves conducting detailed inspections, verifying order accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and collaborating with partner facilities to maintain operational excellence.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring quality consistency, reducing defects, improving processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Job Responsibilities
Quality Inspection & Compliance
- Conduct comprehensive final quality inspections on garments before dispatch.
- Ensure all processed items meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
- Identify defects, damages, stains, missing accessories, or processing errors.
- Verify that garments comply with established quality assurance procedures and operational guidelines.
Order Verification & Reconciliation
- Perform item-level reconciliation by cross-checking processed garments against Order Management System (OMS) records.
- Ensure order accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation before shipment.
- Validate order quantities and product details to prevent dispatch errors.
- Investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
Quality Issue Resolution
- Collaborate with partner facility supervisors to address quality concerns and operational challenges.
- Coordinate garment rework activities whenever quality standards are not met.
- Monitor corrective actions and verify successful implementation.
- Escalate critical quality issues to management when required.
Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze recurring quality defects and operational inefficiencies.
- Conduct root cause investigations to identify underlying process gaps.
- Recommend preventive and corrective actions to minimize future quality issues.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Dispatch Approval
- Review completed orders and authorize dispatch only after all quality requirements have been satisfied.
- Ensure quality checks, reconciliation activities, and documentation are completed accurately.
- Maintain adherence to operational timelines while preserving quality standards.
Incident Investigation
- Investigate damaged, defective, misplaced, or missing garments.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of incidents and corrective actions taken.
- Support claims management and resolution processes when necessary.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality assurance reports.
- Track key quality metrics and operational performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and audit documentation.
- Identify quality trends and provide actionable recommendations to management.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quality Management, Textile Technology, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a Quality Control related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Garment Manufacturing, Laundry Operations, Textile Processing, Logistics Quality Management, or a similar operational environment.
- Experience conducting inspections and quality audits.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, service providers, or external operational partners is highly preferred.
