Medical Laboratory Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare laboratory team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of routine and specialized diagnostic laboratory tests within the Core Laboratory section, ensuring high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with medical laboratory protocols.This role plays a critical part in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment by delivering precise and timely laboratory results.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field

Language Requirement: English (mandatory)

Job Responsibilities

1. Laboratory Testing & Analysis

  • Perform routine and advanced diagnostic tests in the Core Laboratory, including hematology, biochemistry, and clinical pathology.
  • Conduct sample preparation, processing, and analysis according to established laboratory procedures.
  • Ensure all tests are performed with high accuracy, consistency, and adherence to medical standards.

2. Equipment Operation & Maintenance

  • Operate a variety of automated and semi-automated laboratory analyzers and instruments.
  • Carry out routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
  • Report technical faults and coordinate with maintenance teams or vendors for timely resolution.

3. Quality Control & Compliance

  • Strictly follow laboratory quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and laboratory accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits and proficiency testing programs.

4. Sample Management & Reporting

  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of patient samples to maintain integrity and traceability.
  • Record, verify, and report test results accurately in laboratory information systems (LIS).
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient data and medical records at all times.

5. Collaboration & Workflow Support

  • Work closely with laboratory supervisors, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support smooth daily laboratory operations to meet turnaround time (TAT) and production targets.
  • Assist in optimizing workflow efficiency within the laboratory environment.

Job Qualiifcations

  • Strong knowledge of medical laboratory procedures and diagnostic techniques.
  • Experience with laboratory analyzers and automated systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in test reporting.
  • Good understanding of laboratory safety standards and infection control practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
