Healthcare Consultancy Company in Abu Dhabi, UAE is looking for Physiotherapist who are qualified for medical history, clinical findings, mobility, pain levels, and functional limitations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients based on medical history, clinical findings, mobility, pain levels, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans according to patients’ conditions, rehabilitation goals, and physician recommendations.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, strengthening programs, stretching, and other evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans, making adjustments when required.
- Support patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, post-operative, and other rehabilitation needs within the scope of practice.
- Educate patients and their families on prescribed exercises, rehabilitation programs, posture, mobility, injury prevention, and home-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, assessment reports, and progress documentation.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Follow hospital and healthcare consultancy policies, clinical protocols, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards.
- Ensure all physiotherapy procedures are performed professionally and in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations and approved clinical practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and demonstrate professional and ethical conduct at all times.
- Participate in case discussions, multidisciplinary meetings, continuing professional development, and quality-improvement activities.
- Ensure physiotherapy equipment is used safely, maintained appropriately, and kept ready for clinical use.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy / Physical Therapy from a recognized and accredited institution.
- 3–4 years of relevant professional experience as a Physiotherapist, preferably in a hospital, clinic, rehabilitation center, or healthcare consultancy environment.
- Valid professional Physiotherapist/Physical Therapist license or eligibility from the relevant UAE health authority, such as Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi, as applicable.
- Candidates must hold the necessary professional certifications, registration, and licensing documentation required to practice as a Physiotherapist in Abu Dhabi.
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred/required as applicable to the healthcare facility.
- Strong knowledge of physiotherapy assessment techniques, rehabilitation protocols, therapeutic exercises, and evidence-based treatment methods.
- Good understanding of patient safety, infection prevention and control, clinical documentation, and healthcare quality standards.
- Excellent patient-care, communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in maintaining electronic and/or written patient medical records.
- Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Candidates must be willing to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and comply with all applicable UAE healthcare licensing and regulatory requirements.
