Responsibilities – Physiotherapy
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, sports-related, and movement disorders.
- Evaluate pain, mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, posture, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy and rehabilitation plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs.
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy treatment for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical outcomes.
- Educate patients on exercises, posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
- Prescribe and demonstrate appropriate therapeutic exercises and home exercise programs.
- Apply appropriate manual therapy and other physiotherapy techniques within the scope of professional practice.
- Support patients in improving mobility, strength, physical function, and quality of life.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment records, assessment findings, and progress notes.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to coordinated patient care.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, professional ethics, confidentiality, and clinical practice.
Qualifications – Physiotherapist
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy is required/preferred according to the recruitment criteria.
- Valid professional physiotherapy license or registration from the candidate’s home country and/or country of last employment.
- Good Standing Certificate/status where applicable.
- Minimum 3–5 years of recent relevant clinical experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge of musculoskeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.
- Strong patient assessment, clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
