Children’s rehab Centre in Dubai, UAE is looking for a Pediatric Physiotherapist with the following

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess, evaluate, and treat infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and physical disabilities.
  • Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on each child’s functional abilities and rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide therapy focused on improving gross motor skills, mobility, posture, balance, coordination, strength, and functional independence.
  • Deliver evidence-based pediatric rehabilitation using techniques such as Spider Cage Therapy, Cuevas Medek Exercises (CME), Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation (NMES), dynamic balance training, and therapeutic exercise programs.
  • Manage early intervention cases and school-age pediatric patients with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, neuromuscular conditions, orthopedic disorders, and other physical impairments.
  • Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and modify treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Educate and support parents and caregivers by providing home exercise programs and guidance to reinforce therapy goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and educators.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation, progress reports, and clinical records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control procedures, patient safety standards, and professional ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, continuing education programs, and professional development activities.
  • Build positive therapeutic relationships with children and families while promoting family-centred, goal-oriented rehabilitation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Valid Physiotherapy license or eligibility for DHA (Dubai Health Authority) licensing is preferred.
  • 1–6 years of experience in pediatric physiotherapy, pediatric rehabilitation, or pediatric neurodevelopmental therapy.
  • Hands-on experience with Spider Cage Therapy, CME, NMES, dynamic balance training, and gross motor rehabilitation is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric neurological, orthopedic, and developmental conditions.
  • Experience managing early intervention and school-age pediatric caseloads.
  • Ability to perform standardized pediatric functional and developmental assessments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and patient assessment abilities.
  • Ability to develop family-centred, evidence-based treatment programs.
  • Good documentation, report writing, and patient record management skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality pediatric rehabilitation services.
