Pharmacy solutions company in Dubai is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Executive to support regulatory compliance, pharmaceutical and medical device operations, and warehouse activities across the UAE. The role is suited to a qualified pharmacy professional with experience in regulatory affairs, medical devices, IVD products, or other regulated healthcare businesses.

The successful candidate will also support compliance activities related to pharmacy operations, product documentation, prescriptions, and healthcare products where applicable.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the registered Pharmacist-in-Charge and support the maintenance, renewal, and updating of the medical warehouse or drug store licence.
  • Act as the primary contact for regulatory authority inspections, enquiries, submissions, and compliance-related correspondence.
  • Oversee the compliant receipt, storage, and distribution of IVD and other regulated healthcare products.
  • Ensure effective temperature monitoring, cold-chain management, expiry-date control, batch tracking, and product traceability.
  • Maintain and periodically review standard operating procedures for warehouse and pharmacy-related activities.
  • Ensure appropriate handling and documentation of quarantined, returned, expired, damaged, or recalled products.
  • Prepare, submit, and maintain IVD product registrations, variations, renewals, and technical dossiers with the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) and other relevant UAE authorities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to obtain import permits, certificates, shipping documents, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Review product labels, packaging information, promotional materials, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with applicable UAE requirements.
  • Support product complaint handling, vigilance reporting, recalls, and field safety corrective actions.
  • Monitor changes in UAE pharmaceutical, medical device, IVD, and pharmacy regulations and communicate their potential impact on business operations.
  • Support regulatory requirements associated with pharmacy solutions, pharmaceutical products, and healthcare services.
  • Maintain accurate regulatory records, licences, certificates, submissions, and authority correspondence.
  • Where applicable, ensure pharmacy-related documentation and processes are aligned with requirements governing medicines, prescriptions, dispensing, and regulated healthcare products.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacy, quality, supply chain, commercial, and operations teams to maintain regulatory compliance.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent recognised pharmacy qualification.
  • Valid DHA Pharmacist licence.
  • Eligibility to obtain any additional licence or regulatory approval required to serve as the responsible pharmacist for a Dubai drug store or medical warehouse.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs in Dubai or the UAE.
  • Experience in medical devices, IVDs, pharmaceuticals, pharmacy operations, or another regulated healthcare environment.
  • Practical knowledge of regulatory submissions, product registrations, licence renewals, authority correspondence, and inspection preparation.
  • Knowledge of UAE regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical and medical device products.
  • Experience with documentation and compliance processes involving healthcare products, pharmacy operations, prescriptions, or related regulated activities is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of compounding pharmacy operations or pharmaceutical product handling would be an added advantage.
  • Strong document-control, organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Arabic.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with regulatory authorities, manufacturers, suppliers, pharmacy teams, and internal stakeholders.
