Job Title: Physiotherapist / Physical Therapist

Contract: 2 years, renewable
Salary: Starting from SAR 6,000 per month, tax-free, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
- Review patients’ medical history, clinical records, diagnostic reports, and treatment goals before developing appropriate rehabilitation plans.
- Design and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment programs based on each patient’s diagnosis, physical condition, functional limitations, and recovery objectives.
- Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including therapeutic exercises, mobility training, stretching, strengthening, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation.
- Assess patients with lymphatic and related conditions and provide appropriate lymphatic therapy interventions within the scope of professional practice.
- Apply lymphatic therapy techniques to support the management of swelling, edema, reduced mobility, and other conditions requiring specialized rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans according to clinical response and rehabilitation outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient treatment records, assessment findings, progress notes, and discharge documentation.
- Educate patients and their families about prescribed exercises, rehabilitation techniques, mobility strategies, home-care programs, and injury prevention.
- Demonstrate and supervise therapeutic exercises to ensure patients perform movements safely and correctly.
- Support patients in improving strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, range of motion, mobility, and functional independence.
- Use appropriate physiotherapy equipment and treatment modalities safely and effectively.
- Maintain appropriate infection prevention, hygiene, patient safety, and clinical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the healthcare team to provide coordinated patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary discussions regarding patient progress, treatment goals, rehabilitation requirements, and discharge planning.
- Identify changes in a patient’s condition and communicate significant clinical findings to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
- Follow applicable healthcare policies, clinical protocols, professional standards, and Saudi Arabia physiotherapy licensing requirements.
- Maintain professional competency through continuing education, clinical learning, and updated physiotherapy practices.
- Assist patients in achieving realistic short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals and improving their overall quality of life.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or recognized professional qualification in Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy, or a related rehabilitation field.
- Minimum 3 years of solid post-licensure professional experience as a Physiotherapist or Physical Therapist.
- Candidates should have relevant clinical experience gained after obtaining their professional license.
- Must be currently working or have a maximum employment gap of 6 months.
- Certified Lymphatic Therapist (CLT) certification is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of lymphatic therapy, edema management, rehabilitation, therapeutic exercise, and patient mobility.
- Strong understanding of physiotherapy assessment methods and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
- Ability to independently assess patients and develop appropriate individualized treatment plans.
- Experience in monitoring rehabilitation outcomes and adjusting treatment according to patient progress.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, and therapeutic rehabilitation principles.
- Good understanding of patient safety, infection control, clinical documentation, and professional healthcare standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain treatment procedures and exercises clearly to patients and caregivers.
- Strong observation, clinical reasoning, assessment, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

- Willingness to complete the required Saudi Arabia credential verification, DataFlow process, Prometric examination, professional registration, and residency/Iqama procedures.
- Candidates must be prepared to relocate to Saudi Arabia and work under the terms of the employment contract.
