Key Responsibilities

As an AI Engineer, you will:

  • Design and develop scalable machine learning frameworks that power advanced trading systems.
  • Build infrastructure supporting the firm’s next-generation AI and ML platforms.
  • Develop solutions compatible with modern cloud computing environments and distributed architectures.
  • Train, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize large foundation models and generative AI systems.
  • Execute large-scale distributed training across multi-GPU environments.
  • Conduct comprehensive model evaluation, benchmarking, validation, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with AI researchers and software engineers across multiple global offices.
  • Research and implement cutting-edge architectures across:
    • Large Language Models (LLMs)
    • Vision Models
    • Multimodal AI
    • Structured Data Models
  • Improve computational efficiency through performance optimization and parallel computing techniques.
  • Build robust, production-grade Python software for research and live trading applications.
  • Stay current with emerging AI research, open-source technologies, and machine learning innovations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience working with Large Foundation Models or Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Deep Learning
    • Generative AI
    • Neural Networks
    • Modern Transformer Architectures
  • Advanced Python programming skills in Linux environments.
  • Experience building scalable, high-performance software applications.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Multi-GPU training
    • Distributed Machine Learning
    • Large-scale model optimization
  • Strong understanding of:
    • PyTorch
    • TensorFlow (preferred)
    • CUDA
    • Distributed Computing
  • Experience with cloud-native ML infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of parallel computing frameworks and performance engineering.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC).
  • Familiarity with quantitative finance or algorithmic trading.
  • Experience deploying production machine learning systems.
  • Contributions to open-source AI or ML projects.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable infrastructure.
  • Passion for researching emerging AI technologies.
