Physiotherapist wanted at a leading Abu Dhabi rehabilitation centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in evaluating patients, developing personalised rehabilitation plans, and providing evidence-based physiotherapy treatments to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and enhance patients’ quality of life. You will work alongside physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services while contributing to the overall growth and success of the rehabilitation center.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will participate in community engagement, patient education, health awareness initiatives, and marketing activities that promote the clinic’s services and strengthen patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patients’ physical conditions, mobility limitations, pain levels, posture, muscle strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, patient goals, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
- Deliver effective physiotherapy treatments using manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, mobility training, stretching techniques, and rehabilitation protocols.
- Treat patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, neurological conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
- Monitor patient progress throughout treatment and modify rehabilitation programs according to recovery outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, progress reports, and clinical documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and caregivers on injury prevention, posture correction, ergonomics, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, rehabilitation protocols, patient confidentiality requirements, and clinical best practices.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ethics, infection control, and patient safety at all times.
- Participate in continuous professional development programs and clinical training to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining excellent communication with patients and their families.
Marketing & Business Development Responsibilities
As a valued member of the Healthagon Rehabilitation Center team, you will also contribute to the organization’s growth and community presence by:
- Building long-term relationships with patients to improve satisfaction, retention, and referrals.
- Promoting patient education through health awareness campaigns and wellness initiatives.
- Participating in community outreach programs, workshops, corporate wellness events, and rehabilitation awareness activities.
- Creating or participating in educational videos, health tips, and informative content for social media platforms when required.
- Professionally promoting the rehabilitation center’s physiotherapy services and treatment programs.
- Supporting the clinic’s marketing campaigns while maintaining ethical healthcare communication standards.
- Contributing ideas that enhance patient engagement and expand the clinic’s reach within the community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter is mandatory.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous physiotherapy experience in rehabilitation, hospitals, clinics, or healthcare facilities is an advantage but not essential.
- Strong understanding of physiotherapy principles, rehabilitation techniques, anatomy, and patient assessment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Outstanding interpersonal and patient counseling abilities.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
