Medical Laboratory Technologist with Core Laboratory experience wanted at a leading healthcare organization in Ajman, UAE. The successful candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing, operate advanced laboratory analyzers, maintain high standards of quality assurance, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of patient results.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests within the Core Laboratory section.
- Analyze patient specimens accurately using automated and semi-automated laboratory equipment.
- Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and diagnostic instruments.
- Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, handling, storage, and processing according to laboratory protocols.
- Validate laboratory test results before reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Follow established Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures to maintain laboratory excellence.
- Monitor internal quality control results and participate in external quality assessment programs.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and test reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to laboratory safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and biosafety standards.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory accreditation standards, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Report equipment malfunctions and assist with preventive maintenance activities.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory staff, physicians, and healthcare professionals to ensure timely diagnostic services.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory efficiency and service quality.
- Assist the laboratory team in meeting daily operational workloads and turnaround time (TAT) targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
- Proven hands-on experience working in a Core Laboratory environment is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and general laboratory testing procedures.
- Experience operating automated laboratory analyzers and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic reporting systems.
- Good understanding of laboratory quality management systems, QC, QA, and accreditation requirements.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hospital, diagnostic, or reference laboratory settings.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations and biosafety practices.
- Ability to prioritize multiple laboratory tasks while meeting turnaround times.
