A well-established Homecare Facility in Dubai is hiring a Female Physiotherapist to join its expanding healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for both fresh graduates and experienced physiotherapists (1–3 years) who are passionate about providing personalized rehabilitation services in a homecare environment. Candidates with a DHA license or DHA eligibility are encouraged to apply.

Working in home healthcare allows physiotherapists to deliver one-on-one patient care, helping individuals improve mobility, reduce pain, recover from injuries, and regain independence while receiving treatment in the comfort of their homes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Homecare Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on each patient’s diagnosis, medical history, rehabilitation goals, and physician recommendations. Deliver high-quality physiotherapy treatments in patients’ homes using evidence-based rehabilitation techniques and therapeutic interventions.
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to evaluate patients’ physical condition, mobility, posture, muscle strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and functional abilities.
  • Provide rehabilitation services for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, fractures, sports injuries, neurological disorders, stroke, spinal injuries, arthritis, chronic pain, and age-related mobility challenges. Perform manual therapy techniques, joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, stretching, strengthening exercises, balance training, gait training, and functional movement rehabilitation.
  • Design and supervise therapeutic exercise programs that improve strength, flexibility, endurance, posture, coordination, and overall physical performance. Monitor patient progress throughout the rehabilitation process and regularly modify treatment plans to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Identify changes in patient condition and promptly communicate concerns or treatment recommendations to physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and family members on proper exercise techniques, posture correction, mobility improvement, fall prevention, pain management, and injury prevention strategies. Instruct caregivers on safe patient handling techniques, transfer methods, positioning, and home exercise programs to support ongoing rehabilitation.
  • Encourage patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation program while providing emotional support and motivation during recovery. Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date patient records, treatment notes, progress reports, and clinical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational policies. Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare privacy regulations and professional ethical standards.
  • Assess home environments and recommend modifications or assistive devices that improve patient safety, accessibility, and independence. Recommend mobility aids, orthotic devices, walkers, wheelchairs, or other rehabilitation equipment when appropriate. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to review patient progress and adjust rehabilitation strategies when necessary. Follow infection prevention and control protocols during all home visits while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment. Ensure all physiotherapy equipment and treatment tools are properly maintained, sanitized, and used according to safety standards. Stay updated with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices, rehabilitation techniques, and evidence-based clinical guidelines through continuous professional development.
  • Comply with all Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, home healthcare policies, and professional standards governing physiotherapy practice. Manage daily home visit schedules efficiently while ensuring punctuality, professionalism, and high-quality patient care. Build trusting relationships with patients and their families by demonstrating empathy, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills. Promote patient independence by encouraging functional mobility, self-care activities, and long-term wellness through preventive physiotherapy interventions.
  • Assist patients in achieving maximum physical function, reducing disability, and improving their overall quality of life through personalized rehabilitation programs.

Required Qualifications – Physiotherapist

Applicants should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter.
  • Strong clinical assessment and rehabilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Ability to work independently in a homecare environment.
  • Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
  • Professional attitude with strong ethical standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, or geriatric rehabilitation.
