Physiotherapist job to join a well-established healthcare institute in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services aimed at restoring mobility, relieving pain, preventing disability, and enhancing overall patient well-being. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based physiotherapy practices in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities – Physiotherapist
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patients’ mobility, strength, posture, and functional limitations as Physiotherapist.
- Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical findings, medical history, and physician referrals.
- Deliver effective physiotherapy treatments, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy, and use of specialised rehabilitation equipment.
- Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
- Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation programs, injury prevention strategies, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, progress notes, and reports in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and professional ethical standards within the physiotherapy department.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements, techniques, and best practices in physiotherapy and rehabilitation care.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised and accredited institution.
- Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) licence or eligibility letter.
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical physiotherapy experience (UAE or GCC experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal, neurological, and orthopaedic physiotherapy treatments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counselling skills.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.
