Key Roles & Responsibilities
As an Accounts Admin, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company’s financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting day-to-day finance operations.
1. Financial Record Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in accordance with approved accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
2. Bank Reconciliation & Financial Accuracy
- Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve inconsistencies or discrepancies between bank records and company accounts.
- Maintain proper documentation to ensure financial transparency and audit readiness.
3. Invoice & Payment Processing
- Oversee invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization before payment.
- Verify supporting documents, purchase orders, and delivery notes before releasing payments.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and vendor agreements.
- Prepare payment schedules and coordinate with management for timely disbursement.
4. Month-End & Year-End Closing Support
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting schedules for financial reporting.
- Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audit documentation.
- Collaborate with senior finance staff to ensure timely submission of financial reports.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Generate financial reports using Excel and accounting software.
- Maintain organized records for audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations and company policies.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems).
- Solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
Accounting Qualifications – Dubai
- Female candidate currently residing in the UAE with own valid visa (mandatory).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial compliance standards.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance administration (preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
